Parvatpath ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account: name, email address, and (optionally) Google profile info via OAuth.
- Booking: phone number, per-traveler age, gender, emergency contact, and disclosed medical conditions.
- Payment: processed by Razorpay — we store only the order/payment reference, never your card details.
- Usage: anonymised analytics to improve the site.
How we use it
- To confirm bookings and communicate trek details.
- To brief trek leads on medical/emergency-contact info before departure.
- To send transactional emails (confirmation, cancellation, invoice).
Sharing
We share booking data with our on-ground trek leads only. Payment data is handled by Razorpay under their privacy terms. We do not sell your data.
Retention
Booking records are kept for 7 years for tax/compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@parvatpath.com; anonymised transactional records are retained.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or export your data. Email privacy@parvatpath.com.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-restricted to authorised staff only.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and a session cookie for booking flow. No third-party ad trackers.
